Finding a job is a frustrating and overwhelming process, and especially challenging in today's economy. But at certain times finding a new job is an unavoidable part of growing your career in a more successful and fulfilling direction. We know it's frustrating and we want to make your job search as easy and effective as possible.
Here is how our process works…
Step 1: Clarify What You Want
Job searches often fail when the job seeker isn't clear about what they want. We help you focus your search for maximum effectiveness by identifying the position that best fits you and the companies that most inspire you.
Step 2: Communicate Your Value
It's not enough to know that you will do good work. You have to know your value and be able to clearly communicate it to potential employers so that they want to hire you. We help you:
- Brand Yourself by discovering your unique value and selling points.
- Craft An Elevator Pitch that clearly articulates your brand and value to employers and networking partners.
Step 3: Create A Compelling Resume
Hiring managers and recruiters spend 15-30 seconds reading your resume. Make it count!

Step 5: Build Your Web Presence & Social Media Profiles
Your web presence bolsters your credibility and establishes you as an expert in your field. We help you look good by:
- Creating an outstanding LinkedIn profile.
- Professionalizing your Facebook profile.
- Advising you about how to use a personal website or blog to exhibit your expertise.

We guide you through the process of using your network to help you tap the "hidden job market" to uncover job openings before they are publicized. We also explain how to get personal recommendations from company insiders that push your resume to the top of the pile.
- Contacting companies directly: The company that you would love to work for doesn't need to have an advertised job opening for you to get hired. We show you how to identify the company's need and position yourself as the solution. We've seen companies create jobs for our clients and contact our clients first when a job becomes available.
- Online Job Boards & Advertised Job Openings: Although highly competitive, your chances of getting an interview will be greatly improved with your revised resume that says exactly what hiring managers want to hear (Step 3).
- Working with recruiters: Iris Bieri, our resume writer and job search coach, was a recruiter for 20 years and knows how to engage recruiters to champion your resume to hiring managers.
Step 7: Master The Art Of The Interview
The key to interviewing is preparation and confidence. We help you ace the interview by knowing what to expect, clarifying your personal selling points, distilling your accomplishments into memorable stories, and developing your interview presence and confidence.

Step 8: Negotiate
